Home / About
Clean beef, to the people who want it.
We started Great Lakes Amish Meats for one reason: American families want beef they can trust, Amish families already raise it, and almost nobody can get it without a drive to a shed at the end of a gravel road.

Who runs it
A Michigan cattleman who works with the Amish families directly, and a team that has helped family farms sell beef by the share for years. Operations and the farms on one side, the website and the customers on the other.
What we promise
Every farm signs our standard. Every animal goes to a USDA-inspected plant. Every share is a fixed weight at a fixed price. The farms are paid a fair, published price on every animal.
Where we are going
Michigan and Ohio first. Then the rest of the Great Lakes and the Northeast, farm by farm, as more Amish communities join.
